On Friday night, one of my bestie's Chelsie, and my favorite boy Tanner decided we would pay a visit to this new ice cream shop in Orem and cause somewhat of a scene ;)

this is what happened:

Tanner and I walked into a very crowded ice cream shop, holding hands, laughing and scoping out the ice cream flavors, just like any ordinary BYU couple.

After we were there for only about 5 minutes, Chelsie walks in...

and yells, "TANNER?!"

okay, practically every person in there turned their heads our direction when they heard this name called in somewhat of a harsh, confused, loud voice.

"WHO'S THIS!?" she yells pointing at me.

"she is just a friend from high school, its not a big deal i swear, we are just friends." replies Tanner very nervously, and dropping my hand.

"ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? ARE YOU KIDDING ME! WE ARE ENGAGED TANNER!" Chelsie yells back at him.

(now absolutely every single person is staring at us, whispering to each other looking totally shocked and disgusted. I saw one of the employees who was wiping a table next to me completely freeze with her jaw dropped.)

I ran out of the place looking completely embarrassed.

Chelsie storms out in tears.

Tanner is left standing by himself with about 40 pairs of glaring crusty eyes on him, all looking at him like he is a pig.

I ran across the parking lot, while Chelsie ran after me, and Tanner after her.

When we were far enough away so no one could see us anymore

we just erupted in laughter! (safe to say, this event is in the top 10 hardest times i have laughed in my life- and that is a tuff list to make it onto)

The best part is we got a phone call after from our other really good friend Tom. Turns out he and a few other friends were THERE! in the ice cream shop, and saw the entire thing!

HAHAHA! The girls they were with totally thought it was real.
