One day I will trans-wizard and then finally my life will be complete. I always have felt i was born in the wrong human race.

Because I am indeed.... "sigh", a muggle, the portal was of course blocked.

while up at the SLC conference center, i may or may not have stumbled across the entrance to the Hogwarts Express. Platform 5 and 6 quarters (that somehow translates into the London metric system as 9 and 3 quarters I am pretty sure. yes that is correct)

I am very serious about my Dr. Pepper people, and when i tagged along to Dairy Queen with my sis-in-law, to get ice cream, i also wanted a DP.

I had to do it.

ok ok, I have been blogging a lot about the random and miscellaneous brouhahas of life, but this is a long past need post. I know its cheesy and everyone does it, but i couldn't not express my love for my favorite man around.

He loves me way more than i deserve.

He is always there for me and if I can't find him his call finds me.

When ever I am sad or feeling blue, he always knows exactly what song to play for me to cheer me up.

when ever i need any information about ANYTHING he will look it up for me no matter where we are located.

He hates to leave me and I hate leaving him.

he sleeps next to me, takes naps in my arms, and loves to have game nights with me.

He is patient with me while driving, no matter how lost i get.

He surprised me today and ordered me a new pair of TOMS!

I learn from him, and he loves to cuddle up against my cheek.

I really am so lucky to be in love with my BEST FRIEND! girls, don't settle for anything less than that because it is awesome and makes life so much more fun!

Thank you Iphone for choosing me! I look forward to the many memories to come and for our love to grow over the years!

it's how to PROPERLY POP A ZIT!

This Video will change your life.

I used this technique 2 days ago on a 3rd eye/little planet and there was no scab, no pain, and it was completely gone after oh just a little over a full day!

also, if you do it this way, a zit won't return in that same spot. where as if you pop it with your fingernails, you force some puss down deeper into the skin and that will eventually build itself back up and a zit will return in that exact spot over and over.

me, my brother, his wife, and we shall call the 4th person La-a (pronounced La-Dash-A).

We are all walking in the park and La-a says,

"I don't get why everyone is SO obsessed with Jimmer. I mean, no one around here is even Lakers fans so i just don't get it."

the 3 of us stopped and turned around to look at La-a with the same look on our face as someone who just saw that their Grandpa had gotten eyelash extensions.

She thought that Jimmer was on the LAKERS!

she must have been so confused these past few months.

no more high fives from me for at least a month

do you see this? you can't understand the throb in my hand unless you actually heard the explosive SLAP of two hands coming together for a mega high five because 2 people agreed on getting ice cream that night.

My bestie's husband... who shall remain anonymous, or else no one would want to give him high fives anymore, is stronger than he thinks and also apparently loves ice cream just as much as me. put the two together- and it equals one throbbing with a heart beat, skin on fire, hand.

Ice Cream was so worth all that pain though

I love this quote. There are so many people i meet in this life that I think to myself, "wow this person is so amazing, i want to be just like them." But then often times, the natural man kicks in, and I forget. So then i heard this quote yesterday from one of my friends and it hit me; Don't sit there wishing you could be more like someone you greatly admire, BE that person now. Take on their admirable qualities that you love so much NOW. don't let time slip away from you till you are only left with a memory of a person who touched your life in a more powerful way than they could ever know. ADD to your greatness today, and honor the gift you have been given and learn from those amazing people, don't just remember- DO.

ignorance is bliss

The other day I was driving and my little cousin was in the car with me. we were just jamming to music on the radio, bobbing our heads, doing the snake, you know the usual car dancing moves. well a song comes on the radio that contains the following horrifying lyrics when you have a little girl in your car:

"I want your body on me. I want your body all over me. I want you now."

ok... it was dark in the car so thank goodness she couldn't see my wide eyed red face as I very casually stretched my finger out and pressed power button, simultaneously praying she didn't notice the provocative lyrics. I think perhaps there is a special place in hell for people who purposefully, or ACCIDENTALLY pollute children's minds with information years beyond them on never need to know.

but my worries of damnation were put to rest when she replied with this statement,

"hmmm, those were funny words, why would you ever want to switch heads with someone and have a different body on you? weird! or maybe they are talking about switching brains with someone! cool!"

uh......alright....

yes lets go with that.
