children don't like my hair

for some reason, little kids don't like my hair. i think it is the fact that it short "like a boy" but "you are a girl." i think it's hard for them to grasp that girls can have short hair, boys can have long, you can change colors, shapes, styles, whatever you want! it's YOUR hair!

Little girl at work yesterday, "you know... i like you. did you know that? i like you. guess if i like your hair? i don't."

another kid, "that's funny that you don't have long hair."

hahahaha I will keep a running commentary of the comments i get from children in reference to my AWESOME hair. haha
