this past weekend was my little sister's 16th birthday so she and I went and got pedicures together. Got to love getting a pedicure, my favorite. I always feel bad though because the oriental people are always asking me questions and i can't understand them!
I only caught a few things he said to me like,
"how old you?"
"wow really? college? freshman right?"
"oh you look like 16 year old to me."
"Is this you sister?" pointing to Megan.
I nod and smile saying, "yep."
"you real sister?"
"sure is," i answer back.
"why you not so skinny as her?"
oof...
Aww. It's okay. I'm pretty sure no one's as skinny as Megan. Don't you love the way that certain things don't translate across cultures?
